Windsor Education Foundation to Benefit From Chamber Auction

The Windsor Education Foundation (WEF) has been selected to be a beneficiary of the Windsor Chamber Cares auction to be held on April 5th.  "We're excited to be a part of the Windsor Chamber auction," said Vice President, Attorney Richard Vassallo.  "Our board members are donating items and are actively seeking donations from the community to help make the auction a great success."  To donate an item, call Paula Pierce at 860-712-5514 or email This email address is being protected from spambots. "We would also like to encourage the community to come to the Auction and support all the beneficiaries including the Chamber itself," said Paula Pierce, President of WEF.  Auction tickets can be purchased online at www.WindsorCC.org and the growing list of auction items can be viewed there.

The Windsor Education Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non profit organization made up of volunteers that awards grants up to $1,500 to Windsor teachers. In choosing grant recipients, WEF looks for a variety of proposals from all grade levels and schools that 1) Are consistent with Windsor Board of Education goals, 2) Impact students with varying learning abilities, 3) Fall outside the regular operating budget, 4) Will ultimately impact/benefit a large number of individuals,  5) Encourage professional collaboration, and 6) Promote school and community communication.
