Windsor Education Foundation to Benefit From Chamber Auction
"We would also like to encourage the community to come to the Auction and support all the beneficiaries including the Chamber itself," said Paula Pierce, President of WEF. Auction tickets can be purchased online at www.WindsorCC.org and the growing list of auction items can be viewed there.
The Windsor Education Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non profit organization made up of volunteers that awards grants up to $1,500 to Windsor teachers. In choosing grant recipients, WEF looks for a variety of proposals from all grade levels and schools that 1) Are consistent with Windsor Board of Education goals, 2) Impact students with varying learning abilities, 3) Fall outside the regular operating budget, 4) Will ultimately impact/benefit a large number of individuals, 5) Encourage professional collaboration, and 6) Promote school and community communication.
