Farms to Fork Dinner for Education Sept. 6
Enjoy a fresh-from-the-farm, Connecticut-grown "Farms to Fork" picnic-themed dinner, at Northwest Park on Friday, September 6, 2013. A wondrous selection of picnic foods will be freshly prepared for your enjoyment, served on bamboo and other eco-friendly tableware. Tickets are $50 per person. After dinner will be a 10-item auction of gift baskets and other fun surprises. All proceeds benefit the Windsor Education Foundation.
Some of the farm-fresh tasty treats will include gourmet cheeses, fresh arugula salad, pulled pork, brisket, turkey, corn on the cob, fresh corn bread and more! Starting with a variety of special hors d'oeuvres and wrapping up with delicious picnic-themed dessert, this dinner will be a celebration of locally grown, fresh and delicious seasonal foods.
