Wade & Tea Fair ONLINE & at Patti's Oct 19-20
The Windsor Chamber of Commerce annual Windsor Wade & Tea Fair being held October 19 - 20, 2013 will be held ONLINE ONLY this year. Vendors will be showing and selling their Wade figurines and other Wade items on the Chamber's Wade website www.WadeWindsorCT.org And Patti's Treasures will be having LIVE Fair Specials all weekend, with guest PaulaWalla selling tea and tea accessories!
More vendor items are being added as we speak. "Unfortunately, we just didn't get enough vendor signups this year, so we're going digital and plan to have a 'live' show again next year," said Paula Pierce, the Chairperson of the event.
The pairing of Tea with Wade started years ago when Wade figurines were added to Red Rose Tea boxes as a premium. "To put Wade and Tea together at the fair was an easy decision," says Jane Garibay, Executive Director of the Windsor Chamber of Commerce.
We have a good number of Wade vendors who sell antique, new and limited edition figurines and kitchenware made by Wade in England. And we also have great tea vendors who offer many different types of loose and bagged white, green, and black tea, as well as oolong and herbal teas and accessories.
The online fair is sponsored by Edward Jones - Marty McMahon, Carmon Community Funeral Homes, Loomis Chaffee School and Union Street Tavern.
People can buy the fair "admission" piece for $5, which this year is a pearlized corgi dog, and the show special Wade for $30 which is a lovely mini teapot.
