8th Annual Childhood Conversations Conference, March 29

The 8th Annual Childhood Conversations Conference will take place on
Saturday, March 29, at the Hartford-Windsor Marriott Airport Hotel, 28
Day Hill Road in Windsor.

The day-long conference offers a variety of
activities, including workshops on power struggles, promoting positive
behavior, gluten-free eating, and "The Mask of Hunger," featuring
Cheryl Barbara, a New Haven lunch lady and the Food Network's 2011
"Chopped Champion." The conference also includes a panel discussion
and a keynote with Michael Levine, musical producer of the first four
New York Times bestselling "Pete the Cat" songs and stories and
co-founder of "The Learning Groove."

Childhood Conversations offers both parents and professionals many of
the same development opportunities and speakers afforded to educators,
child advocates and social service providers through their annual
conferences.
