Free Instruments Available to CT Schools

Horns For Kids has over 40 musical instruments available now - free to Connecticut school music programs. Music teachers and school administrators are encouraged to apply by downloading the application from the Horns for Kids website: HTTP://WWW.HORNSFORKIDS.ORG. Applications must be received by end-of-day on Monday, May 12, 2014. Instruments will be awarded to schools, based on need. All instruments awarded are clean, playable, and in excellent condition. There is a good variety of woodwind, brass, string and percussion instruments in this group, including a baritone horn, French horn, bass clarinet, double bass, pair of tympani and more.

 

Horns For Kids is a non-profit charity that supports music education in Connecticut schools. It awards new and refurbished instruments to deserving school music programs throughout the State. Since 2003, it has awarded over 850 instruments to well over 350 Connecticut schools. If you would like to donate an instrument not presently being used, contact Horns For Kids by calling (203) 288-9771 any weekday between 9am-5pm.
