Triple Helix Corp Awarded $160,000 Funding by CT Small Business Express Program
Triple Helix Corporation (3XC) was awarded $160,000 by the CT Department of Economic and Community Development’s (DECD) Small Business Express Program to create new jobs and new advanced information technologies.
Jason Bittner, 3XC CEO, says “This funding will help us continue our growth, add jobs to the Connecticut economy, and increase the profitability and competitive advantage of CT companies. With it, we can grow much faster and create systems that increase our client’s bottom line by exploiting information and insights from their data. This knowledge increases profitability by identifying market opportunities, improving process efficiency, and enhancing data security.”
3XC and the DECD team worked together to define 3XC’s business growth plan and technology development. Said Bittner, “The DECD team was extremely considerate and helpful to us during the entire process. We had some very specific concerns about our plans which the DECD team helped us address. This funding is going to be instrumental in helping us add new skilled local talent and grow our next generation of intelligent software. Truly a win-win for everyone.”
The Small Business Express Program, which was a key component of Governor Malloy’s Jobs Bill passed in the October 2011 special legislative session, provides loans and grants to Connecticut’s small business to spur job creation and growth. The program provides access to capital and incentivized loans and grants to create jobs in Connecticut.
