A New Look For Family Dentistry

Everyone who steps in the Family Dentistry facility on Broad Street these days is in for a surprise. The practice underwent a virtual transformation over the past month, and visitors are greeted with new colors, new accents, an entirely new look. "We redid the entire span," said this week owner Dr. Steve Lipman. "I wanted to give the space my stamp."

Lipman picked colors and themes that remind the beach, that he feels bring out happiness and calm to all who work there and, even more important, to patients.
ìI can look at the colors, and we have the blue sky and the water, and the sand, and the green and it all works,î he said.
It was expensive, he admitted, but his way has always been to invest in his business and in the town.
"
When I got the building," he pointed out, "they were doing drug deals on the corner. Now it's probably one of the more successful buildings in this side of town. We got rid of that old donut shop, which was terrible, and we fixed up that space. We brought in Nat Hayden's, and they are doing fabulous."

ìIt's all about investing in the community, investing in Windsor,  Lipman says. ìI am a local guy. I've been working here, and my goals here aren't just about making money, but about making it better for the town and the people in this town.

And the renovation has worked great, he said. "People walk in here, and the smiles are ear to ear," he related.
