Windsor Nonprofits Receive Funding

Windsor legislators announced several local nonprofits have been selected to receive awards as part of the state's Nonprofit Grant Program. The Brain Injury Alliance of Connecticut, Easter Seals Capital Region & Eastern Connecticut, Inc and Vinfen Corporation of Connecticut, Inc. have been chosen by Governor Dannel Malloy to receive over $900,000 worth of assistance.

 

    * Brain Injury Alliance of Connecticut will receive $49,000 for Information Technology upgrades

    * Easter Seals Capital Region & Eastern Connecticut, Inc. will receive $452,000 for vehicles

    * Vinfen Corporation of Connecticut, Inc. will receive $400,000 for improvements and renovations

"These Windsor non-profits are on the front lines of providing services to those who need it most in our communities," said DEPUTY SPEAKER OF THE HOUSE PEGGY SAYERS. "I appreciate Governor Malloy's confidence in Windsor. His commitments encourage us to continue supporting their efforts."
