The Windsor Journal welcomes Shan Shan Nie and her friends who populate her very popular on the web BonkkaView Comic strip. Shan Shan was born in China, and is a Connecticut-based artist who has more than 20 years experience working in various arts media, including painting, drawing, photography, jewelry design, as well as story writing and illustration. In her most recent creation, The Bonkka View Series, Shan Shan uses her keen observations of human nature to capture the humor found in situations that we can all relate to.
