A Taste of Windsor - March 10th

alt

If you love food and drink, join other foodies on Saturday, March 10, 2012 at the 2nd annual First Town Downtown event "A Taste of Windsor" which will be held at Loomis Chaffee School. The evening will be filled with a wide variety of appetizers and main dish samplings donated by Windsor’s own unique restaurants including Union Street Tavern, Chili’s Bar & Grill, Bart’s Beanery, Dom’s Broad Street Eatery, Windsor 75 and more. You'll also enjoy fine wines and beers to suit every palate. There will also be silent and tea cup auctions throughout the night so you can browse the donated items and get a great deal on some highly sought after gift certificates and other prizes.  Proceeds benefit First Town Downtown events, including the Farmers’ Market, Nightmare on Broad Street, the Carol Sing and Torchlight Parade. Tickets are $35 in advance and $40 at the door. If you are a Windsor restaurateur and haven't yet signed up to participate, go to www.FirstTownDowntown.org.  If you're a person who loves food and/or Windsor, support First Town Downtown, Windsor's Main Street Program, by attending this event and becoming an individual or business member. For more information or to purchase tickets, call 860-688-5165 or visit www.FirstTownDowntown.org.
